Why Starting a Firm Was Critical

During his time working as a workers’ compensation defense lawyer, Attorney Gechijian negotiated thousands of settlements involving medically- and legally complex matters. He also navigated numerous multi-party lawsuits involving numerous insurance companies and employers.

While successful as a defense attorney, Attorney Gechijian wanted to do more. He desired to provide personalized help to victims while providing accessibility to legal representation for those who may not otherwise have it. Personalized attention to injured workers has become his passion, and now he focuses solely on advocating for injured workers in Florida.

Ara’s personal mission:

I opened Ara Work Injury Law so I could focus more closely on my cases so as to ensure each client is getting a higher level of dedication, attention and service. I want the clients to be updated on their case status, to be informed of recent developments and to feel part of the process instead of feeling like an onlooker. The more interactive the clients can be with their lawyer, the better job the lawyer can do for the clients.

Professional Credentials and Community Involvement

Attorney Ara Gechijian completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey. He completed his Juris Doctor degree at St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida, in 1999. He served as President of the Student Bar Association and Armenian Law Society.

After his education, Attorney Gechijian was a Partner with focus solely on defending workers’ compensation cases as the Workers’ Compensation Director Pallo, Marks, Hernandez, Gechijian DeMay, P.A. He later joined Keller Melchiorre Walsch, PLLC.

Attorney Gechijian is well-respected in the legal community amongst judges, counsel, mediators, and clients. He also serves as a member of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Bar.
