FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
JUPITER, Fla. – Ara Work Injury Law is proud to announce that attorney Deborah Gechijian has joined the firm, bringing more than two decades of legal experience and a unique perspective that will further strengthen the firm’s commitment to protecting the rights of injured workers throughout Florida.
A licensed member of The Florida Bar since 2004, Deborah focuses her practice exclusively on representing employees who have been injured on the job. Her extensive legal background, which includes years of defending employers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation litigation, gives her an exceptional understanding of how workers’ compensation claims are evaluated and defended. Today, she uses that knowledge to advocate for injured workers and help them pursue the full benefits they deserve.
“Deborah’s experience on both sides of workers’ compensation litigation is an incredible asset for our clients,” said Ara R. Gechijian, founder of Ara Work Injury Law. “She understands the strategies insurance companies use, and she is committed to using that knowledge to protect injured employees and help them obtain the benefits they are entitled to under Florida law.”
Deborah earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Miami before receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Miami Business Law Review, demonstrating the academic excellence and leadership that have defined her legal career.
She began her career as an Assistant State Attorney in Palm Beach County, where she gained valuable courtroom and litigation experience. She later spent many years representing employers and insurance carriers in complex workers’ compensation matters before dedicating her practice to helping injured workers throughout Florida.
Having worked extensively with insurance companies, Deborah understands the challenges injured employees often face after a workplace accident. From delayed medical treatment to denied claims and disputes over benefits, she guides clients through Florida’s complex workers’ compensation system with compassion, experience, and determination.
“I know firsthand how overwhelming the workers’ compensation process can be for injured employees,” said Deborah Gechijian. “My goal is to make sure every client understands their rights, receives the medical care they need, and has a dedicated advocate fighting for the maximum benefits available under the law.”
